After successfully uploading your file and mapping the content columns, the import section can still throw an error message.



This usually happens when the uploaded file is not saved with the UTF-8 encoding. In this case, the system cannot process the file accordingly.

In some situations, even though the file appears to have been processed successfully, some content with special characters, such as accents, can be imported with broken characters.

 

If you see the message above, try the following:

 
  1. Go to https://sheet.zoho.com/sheet/excelviewer

  2. Upload your file

  3. Click on “View”

  4. Check your content, looking specially for broken characters. Fix them if needed.

  5. Export your file. We recommend the comma separated values (CSV) format

  6. Go back to your import tool and upload the new file

  7. On the final step, you should see the screen below, which means your file was successfully processed and your import was sent to the queue to be processed.
