Blogs help you interact with your audience to build readership and complement your directory listings. Since blog pages are indexed by Google, the posts and rich-content help the directory ranking on organic searches.

1. Upon logging onto eDirectory, open the Content Manager tab.

2. Once you open Content Manager, click on Blog.
3. To add a post, simply click on Add Post in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

4. Then, type your Post Title.
5. Under Basic Information, click Add Categories to select the category that your post corresponds with. It is important to note that you need to create categories before you can select a category. If you have not already created a category, do not worry. Simply click the Back button in the upper left side of the screen. Then, click Manage Categories located in the top middle portion of your screen. Next, click Add Category in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Once you have successfully added the appropriate category, you can continue creating your Blog Post.
6. Next, you can select the status of the post. You can determine if a status is active, pending, or suspended. If a status is active, then that means the blog immediately goes live after posting. If it is pending, then this means that the post would go live after the appropriate approval. If a post is suspended, then that means that the post is not live.

7. Afterward under Content, you can create your blog post.
8. Furthermore, selectively choose what words you would like to use under the Keywords for the Search. Keywords are important because they help users find your post faster. Here is a quick tip: as you are typing, simply add a comma to separate keywords, so you can add words faster.

9. In addition, you can also add a Cover Image and Thumbnail to further enhance your blog post to grab reader’s attention.
10. Finally, click Save Changes in the Upper or Lower right hand corners of the screen.

Furthermore, to view your blog post on the website, return to the original Blog tab under Content Manager. Click on your Post. On the right-hand side, you will be able to view a mini-version of your post. There is a View on Website link. You can click on this link to prompt you to view the blog post on the website.
