With eDirectory version 13.1 and later, you now have the exciting capability to design and display banners specifically for your mobile app users. This article will guide you through the simple steps to create these app-exclusive banners.

Note: Please be aware that only image-based banners are compatible with the mobile app. Banners that utilize scripts or custom code will not function within the app environment.

Steps to Create App-Exclusive Banners:

  1. Select Compatible Banner Types: When you are in the process of creating a new banner, it's crucial to choose one of the two banner types that are specifically designed for app display. The only banner types that will work within your mobile app are "Large Mobile Banner" and "Square." If you select any other banner type, it will not be visible to your app users.

  1. Designate for Mobile Apps in Banner Details: After selecting either "Large Mobile Banner" or "Square" as your banner type, proceed to fill in the other relevant fields for your banner. Within the "Banner Details" section of the banner creation form, locate and select the option labeled "Mobile apps." This designation ensures that the banner will be targeted for display within your mobile application.

  1. Complete the Banner Information: Continue to fill out the remaining fields in the banner creation form with all the necessary information, such as the linked URL, target window, and any other relevant details for your banner campaign.
