How to Create Stories for the App

Introduction

In eDirectory version 13.1 and later, you can now harness the engaging format of stories to effectively promote your ads, news articles, and special offers directly within your mobile application. This article will guide you through the simple steps to create these promotional stories.

Steps to Create Promotional Stories:

  1. Navigate to the Stories Section: To begin creating stories, go to the following path within your eDirectory admin panel: Mobile Apps > Splash Screen > Stories > Edit.

  1. Add a New Story Group: On the "Stories" editing page, click the button labeled "Add story group."

  1. Create and Configure Individual Stories: Within the newly created story group, click the button "New Story." You will then be able to select the story type. Depending on your promotional goal, you can choose to link your story to a classified listing, an advertisement, a business profile, or a blog post. After selecting the desired story type and, if applicable, choosing the specific item you want to promote, click "Save Changes" to finalize the story creation.

Note: Remember to give your story group a descriptive name by filling in the "Story Group" field. This will help you organize your stories within the admin panel.
