How to Cancel Your eDirectory Contract

We understand that circumstances can change, and you might find it necessary to cancel your eDirectory hosting contract. To ensure a clear and efficient cancellation process, please carefully review and follow the guidelines outlined below.


Crucial Notice Period:

To avoid incurring charges for the subsequent billing cycle, we require a minimum of 10 days advance notice prior to your next scheduled renewal date. This timeframe allows our team sufficient time to process your cancellation request and prevent any further billing from being initiated.

How to Officially Submit Your Cancellation Request:

To formally cancel your eDirectory hosting services, please send an email to our dedicated billing department at billing@arcasolutions.com clearly stating your request for cancellation.

Important Consequence of Cancellation:

Upon processing your cancellation request, eDirectory will proceed to delete your hosting account and all associated data. It is critical to understand that data retrieval will not be possible once this deletion process is complete. Please ensure you have backed up any essential information before submitting your cancellation.

Specific Information for Service License Customers:

If you are currently utilizing a Service/Cloud License (Monthly) for your eDirectory platform, please note that your project will be deactivated on the exact same day as your next billing cycle. To prevent any disruption in your website's accessibility for your users, we strongly advise you to update your DNS settings promptly after your cancellation request is processed.

Optional Services Available at the Time of Cancellation:

To provide you with options for retaining access to your project or preserving your data during the cancellation process, we offer the following optional services for your consideration:

  • Backup – $9.99/month: For a nominal monthly fee, we will retain a backup of your complete website files and database on our secure servers. This allows you to maintain a copy of your project for future reference, potential migration to another platform, or simply for archival purposes.
  • Standby Shared – $47/month: This service keeps your project in a paused state within a shared hosting environment. This option can be beneficial if you are uncertain about a full cancellation and anticipate a potential return to eDirectory services in the near future. It allows you to preserve your project without the full cost of active hosting.

To request either of these optional services, please explicitly mention your preference in your cancellation request email to billing@arcasolutions.com.

Our Refund Policy:

Please be advised that payments made for eDirectory services are non-refundable. As outlined in our service agreement, all eDirectory payments are billed in advance on a monthly, yearly, or otherwise defined term or period of time basis and is non-refundable unless requested within forty eight (48) hours from the original purchase.

Any refund requests following the initial 48-hour grace period will not be approved. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. Promotional purchases are not eligible for refunds. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.

Addressing Erroneous Charges: In the event that you are mistakenly charged after your cancellation has been processed, eDirectory will promptly refund the erroneously charged amount within 2 business days of receiving your notification. Please contact our billing department immediately at billing@arcasolutions.com if such an error occurs.

Backup Retention and Project Reactivation:

While we maintain backups of projects for a limited period following cancellation, it's important to understand that we do not guarantee a specific data retention timeframe.

If you decide to restart your project at a later date, and if we still possess a viable backup of your data, a $99 restart fee will be applicable to restore your project.

However, if no backup is available at the time of your requested reactivation, you will need to purchase a new eDirectory license through our website at and set up your project as a new customer.

Downgrading Services:

If your requirement is to downgrade any of your existing eDirectory services rather than a full cancellation, please contact our billing department directly at billing@arcasolutions.com. Please be aware that downgrading services may result in data loss or limitations in available features. eDirectory will not be held responsible for any data lost as a consequence of service downgrades.
