1. Log In and Access the Content Manager

Log in to eDirectory and open the Content tab.

2. Navigate to Articles

Click on Articles under the Content tab.

3. Add a New Article

Click on Add Article in the upper right-hand corner.

4. Enter the Article Title

Type your article title in the designated field.

5. Fill in Basic Information

Under Basic Information, you can:

  • Click Now to schedule a future publication date.
  • Select the relevant category for your article.

Note: Categories must be created before they can be selected. If no category exists, click Create Category under Browse to add one.

6. Specify Account, Status, and Renewal Date

Select the Account, Status, and Renewal Date for your article.

7. Input Author and Additional Details

  • Enter the Author’s name.
  • Provide the Article URL.
  • Write a short bio about the Author.

8. Write an Abstract

Provide a brief summary of the article in the Abstract section.

9. Compose Your Article

Write the full content of your article in the Content section.

10. Add Keywords for Search Optimization

Enter relevant Keywords in the designated section, separating them with commas for faster input. Keywords help users find your article more easily.

11. Configure SEO Settings

Optimize your article for search engines:

  • SEO Title: Auto-filled from the article title but can be edited.
  • Slug URL: Auto-generated from the article title; can be customized.
  • SEO Keywords: Enter keywords related to the article for search visibility.
  • Description: Provide a description that appears in Google search results (you can reuse the Abstract).

12. Add a Promotional Code (Optional)

If applicable, enter a Promotional Code.

13. Upload Images

Enhance your article by adding images:

  • Author Picture: Click Choose File to upload.
  • Photo Gallery: Click Choose File to add images.
  • Cover Image: Click Choose File (upper right-hand side) to upload a cover image.

14. Save Your Changes

Click Save Changes in the upper or bottom right-hand corners.

Viewing Your Article on the Website

To view your published article:

  • Return to the Articles tab under Content Manager.
  • Click on your article.
  • On the right-hand side, view a preview and click View on Website to see it live.
