For version 12.0, eDirectory wants to give our customers even more options of customization, so they can achieve more business objectives. Our goal is to make the websites flexible, easy and visually likable.
Thinking about that, our team created brand new widgets in order to increase the possibilities of what you can do with eDirectory. Now you have 3 new ways of displaying your categories, an exclusive social network bar, new types of card widgets available for all modules, and much more.
Check out the new widgets for version 12!
1. List of featured categories with only text
Now you can display your categories with only their names. With this new widget, you can also opt to showing how many listings are there in each of the categories and choose if you want it to have Square Banners, Wide Skyscrapers, or to not have any banners at all:

2. List of featured categories with icons instead of bigger images
While building a new featured category, you will be able to add either the image and the icons. So instead of those big images, you can now display your categories with icons for a simpler way of showing them keeping the visual impact:

3. List of featured categories in just one horizontal line
Now you can also display your categories on a horizontal bar with scroll:

4. Social network bar
Previously, the Social Media buttons were stuck on some of the headers and footers. We created a exclusive widget for those buttons so you can add it anywhere you want.

5. Contact information bar
The same we did for the Social Media buttons we did for the contact information. Now you can place it where you want to:

6. Call to action
The Call to action widget it’s for you can add a text telling your viewers to come advertise with you. This new widget contains a button - that you can address to anywhere you want - and a integration with Unsplash, so you can select high quality images for the widget:

7. Slider
For version 12, we also divided the Slider and it is now a independent widget that can be used in different parts of your pages. It also contains the Unsplash integration so you can choose pretty images for the site. When close to the header, this widgets will merge:

8. Three new types of cards widgets available for all modules
Now you have three new options on how to display your items. You can do it for any modules you want and show them as One horizontal card, Three vertical cards or a list of horizontal cards.

9. Section header / Page title
Now you are also able to insert a title, so you can separate a page by section. You have the options to place this widget wherever you want and set the text to the left, right or centralized:
