On eDirectory, your users can refine their searches through Location Data. But you must first configure the Location Data on the Site Manager. In this tutorial, you’ll learn step by step how to make the configurations.
Please, follow the instructions below:
1. Upon logging onto eDirectory, click on “Settings”.
2. At “Settings”, click on Language and Geography.
3. Then click on the Location Data tab. Here you will be able to see the specific countries that you have chosen, along with the states, regions, cities, and neighborhoods. You can view, edit, add, and delete as you will.
If you want to disable Locations, uncheck the option "Enable usage of categories for this site".
This feature is useful for non-location based directories. This will remove all references for addresses and locations from your listings. The location field will be removed from the search boxes as well.
