Introduction

Deals are discount coupons that your clients can create for the end-users of the site to redeem after they already have a listing on your site. Since deals are directly dependent on listings, users will only be able to add a deal if there is an associated listing.

After creating a listing, you can create a corresponding deal to accompany it. While creating a deal, you can set time limits and the number of available deals that site visitors can redeem directly from the site.

Steps to Add a Deal

1. Ensure You Have a Listing

Before a user can add a deal, they need to have already added a listing and an account. To see how to add a listing as a sponsor, please check out this article: How to Add a Listing as a Sponsor.

2. Locate the "Add Deal" Option

Once the user has a listing under their account dashboard, they will be able to see their existing listing(s). Under each listing, there is an option labeled "Add Deal." Clicking this option allows the user to start the process of creating a new deal.

3. Fill Out the Deal Form

The Deal form will be displayed, allowing the user to enter details for the specific listing. For example, if the listing belongs to a restaurant, the user can create a deal for a special dish of the day, setting a limited number of coupons that can be redeemed and establishing a time frame for the deal.

4. Enter the Deal Title

Type your Deal Title to make it attractive and engaging.

5. Set the Number of Offers

Select the number of offers that you would like to make available for this deal.

6. Add a Summary Description

Type a brief Summary Description that highlights the essence of the deal.

7. Add a Full Description

Under the Description, introduce your deal, providing all relevant details and features.

8. Define Deal Conditions

Clearly describe the limits and conditions of your deal under the Conditions field.

9. Add Keywords for Search Optimization

Choose relevant keywords to help users find your deal more easily in searches.

10. Set Start and End Dates

Define the Start and End Date for your deal.

Attention: A deal will only be displayed on the site within the time range configured in this step. If a deal is set to start two days from now, it will display on the site in two days and will stop displaying on the end date.

11. Define Pricing Details

Enter the original price and the discounted price of your deal.

12. Configure Redeem Code Options

You can configure the deal to:

  • Generate a random code for each redemption

  • Use a unique code for all redemptions

  • Upload a QR code to validate the deal

Notice: For more information on how the redeem options work, please refer to the following two instructional articles: How to Define the Redeem Deals Code as Random or Unique
